I decided to go a little overboard on constructing this site. Not much mind you, but a little. Just plain overboard would have been setting up a database for all the codes and setting up php driven templates to pull them down. I also decided to give it a dumb name. Feel free to make jabs at it. I hope this site will prove to be useful. If nothing else, at least it will be easier to browse the codes here than in the FAQ. And there are a ton of codes.

Eventually, the various sections of this site will include "do-it-yourself" style help files and tools. I don't expect that everybody will be able to make use of them, but let's face it, I'm bound to get tired of this at some point. Having what I know available will not hurt anyone and may help everyone.

Cheers!

Update - 11/11/2003

I've been sort of secretly updating the site ever since it went up, but I think this one merits a news item.

  1. Massive updates to all codes pages. This mainly for site usability. All the codes containing ? marks now point to a section on the Quantity Digits page.
  2. The Quantity Digits page has many new additions.
  3. Character Name Modifiers are up on the Name Modifier Codes page.
  4. Recruit codes for individual characters will be going up shortly.
  5. I've added Fullcode's Multi-line converter to the downloads page. This is, in my opinion, the best encryption tool currently available.
  6. A small hacking guide is going up on the Hacking Progress page, along with links to other resources.

The biggest Suikoden III related update is the Roaming Code. It gets its own page and will hopefully prove fun. I'm also hoping it will allow access to some hidden areas in time. This code allows access to the entire world map from the beginning of the game and its effects are largely untested.
